Siemowit

Siemowit is considered one of the four legendary Piast princes. However, Polish historians dispute that Siemowit and the two dukes following him where actual rulers, and only semi-legendary. Reportedly, his father, Piast, was a peasant entrusted by angels to rule Poland because of his piousness and hard-work. Three more descendants follow. Mieszko I, is considered the first ruler of Poland and the Piast dynasty.
