Shrine Catholic High School

Shrine Catholic High School is a private high school located in Royal Oak, Michigan. It is in connection with National Shrine of the Little Flower Church one mile away. For many years the principal was Father Charles Coughlin, a Catholic radio priest and supporter of the United States Union Party during the 1930s. The third floor is controlled by Shrine Academy, the Middle School of Shrine Parish. The school during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s had many clubs and courses, but the dismantled after the baby boomers had graduated. Some clubs that were dismantled were Science Club and Karate. Some courses that were dismantled were Latin and sociology.
