The total area is 0.06% water. Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 472 people, 177 households, and 135 families residing in the township. The population density is 3.7/km² (9.7/mi²). There are 338 housing units at an average density of 2.7/km² (6.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 98.52% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.21% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.27% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 177 households out of which 30.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.2% are married couples living together, 5.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 23.2% are non-families. 20.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 8.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
