Shiliver Rebbe

The Shiliver Rebbe from Ka-Tzetnik 135633's book Kaddish, was a (fictional?) hasidic Jewish sect who opposed openly resisting the Nazis on the grounds that resistance meant certain death; constituted suicide, which is strictly forbidden.
