Sheriff Hales

Sheriff Hales is a scattered village in England, 13.8 km (8 mi) west-north-west of Brewood, and 4.8 km (3 mi) north of Shiffnall. Its parish extends into Shropshire, and has 28 km² (7040 acres) of land, of which 17 km² (4130 acres) are in Shropshire, and 12 km² (2910 acres) in the Staffordshire part of the parish, which includes the village of Sheriff-Hales and the hamlets of Weston Heath and Little Chatwell. The Duke of Sutherland is owner of nearly all of the parish, and lord of the manor.
