Sheridan

Sheridan is the name of several places in the United States of America: United States Army General Philip H. Sheridan, and the M551 Sheridan tank, named after him. Richard Brinsley Sheridan (1751–1816) was an Irish playwright and politician. John Sheridan is an English footballer. John Sheridan was a character in the sci-fi series Babylon 5. Sheridan College is a learning institute in Ontario, Canada. Sheridan's is also an alcoholic drink (coffee layered liqueur) from Thomas Sheridan & Sons (Dublin). Sheridan le Fanu (1814–1873) was an Irish writer of short stories. He is most often remembered for the novella Carmilla.
