Shegaon

Shegaon is a town in the Buldhana district of the state Maharashtra in India. It is located around 550 km east of the city of Mumbai and 300 km west from the city of Nagpur. It is located on Mumbai-Bhusawal-Nagpur route of the Central Railway of Indian Railways. It has acquired fame as a pilgrimage center because the Sant Gajanan Maharaj lived there. Hindus consider him a saint with miraculous powers. The temple Trust runs many services in spiritual, religious, medical and educational field. In particular, it runs an Engineering College.
