shan hai jing

Shan Hai Jing(山海經,山海经) is a ancient chinese book. This book contains many geographic and culture descriptions about ancient world. It also contain many mythologies. The famousest ancient chinese mythology from this book is the ancient Chinese ruler Da Yu (Yu the great) spent years to control a deluge (mythologies). He was aided by the goddess Nu Wa who literally "fixed" the "broken" sky through which huge rains were pouring. Someone believe the author of this book is the first one who visited the American continent.
