Shaikh Salman Bin Hamad Bin Isa Al-khalifa

Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa (born October 21, 1969) is the Undersecretary of Defence in Bahrain. He went to school in Bahrain, followed by higher studies abroad. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in political science in 1992 from the American University in Washington D.C., in the United States. He also obatained a Master's degree in history and philosophy from Cambridge University in 1994. Shaikh Salman was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Studies and Research (BCSR) in 1995. That same year, he was also appointed Defence Under-Secretary.
