Seyfert Galaxy Ngc 7742

The Seyfert Galaxy NGC 7742 (also known as Galaxy NGC 7742 or NGC 7742) is the designation for a Type 2 Seyfert galaxy and a spiral galaxy that lies approximately 22 mega-parsecs (72 million light-years) away from Earth in the Pegasus constellation. This galaxy shows evidence of highly ionized atoms because of the spectrum of its intensely luminous nucleus. It appears much more the Fried Egg Galaxy than other claimants to the name.
