Severn Hill

Severn Hill- A Shrewsbury School boarding house situated on a hill overlooking the River Severn. Perhaps most noted as being the former house of Andrew Irvine arguably the first man to climb Everest. More recent celebrated alumni include the renowned comedian Jonathan Skuse, The Monk is also a famous old boy and Alex Thorpe, formerly of renowned Reading gangster troupe Tha Boyla Suitz, now head of the Harvard branch of the Young Conservatives' Association.
