Seventh Avenue (Ind Station) Manhattan IND Sixth Avenue Line and IND Queens Boulevard Line Sixth Avenue Line: Queens Boulevard Line: Sixth Avenue Line: Queens Boulevard Line: December 15, 1940 (Sixth Avenue Line) August 19, 1933 (Queens Boulevard Line) Seventh Avenue is located at Seventh Avenue and 53rd Street. It is a two-level station, with two tracks at each level and two island platforms, one over the other. The upper level serves northbound trains on both lines; northbound Sixth Avenue Line trains head compass west on the south track, and northbound Queens Boulevard Line trains head compass east on the north track. The lower level is the reverse. The BMT Broadway Line passes overhead near the west end of the station; this crossing is visible in the ceiling and supporting columns.
