SestreSestre is a Slovenian band of transvestites. Their nicknames are Daphne, Emperatizz and Miss Marlena. They already appear in Slovenia for several years under the name of Strumpantl Sisters. Daphne studies agriculture and dances in the Ljubljana Dance Theatre. Miss Marlena is also a student, Emperatizz is a stylist and make up expert. She was 2nd in the European Transvestite Contest in 1997. They won EMA 2002, the national preselections for the Eurovision Song Contest 2002 in Tallinn. Although singer Karmen Stavec was the favourite in the televoting, the expert jury selected Sestre. In Tallinn they became 13th.
