Sergei Ivanov (Cyclist)

Sergei Ivanov (born 5 March 1975 in Chelyabinsk, Russia) is a professional cyclist. He cycles with the T-Mobile Team and has done so since 2004. He has, however, been a professional cyclist since 1996 - being a member of three previous teams - CSKA Lada-Samara, TVM-Farm Frites, and Fassa Bortolo. In this time he has completed 2 Tour de Frances, 1 Giro d'Italias, and 2 Vuelta a Espaas. He now lives in Bekkevoort, Belgium. His career highlights have included 2 stage wins at the Tour de l'Avenir 1996, Russian Champion in 1998, 1999 and 2000, winner of GP Harelbeke 2000, a stage win in the Tour de Suisse 2001 a stage win in the 2001 Tour de France, winner of the Trofeo Luis Puig 2002, a stage win in the Tour of Holland 2002, and a stage runner-up in the Tour de Suisse 2003.
