Seil

Seil is one of the Slate Islands, lying west of Argyll in Scotland. It is linked to the mainland by the Clachan Bridge, built in 1792, and covered in fairy foxgloves. The main settlement on Seil is Ellenabeich, originally a separate island, where parts of Ring of Bright Water were filmed. Another village is Balvicar. Ferries sail from Ellenabeich to Easdale, and from Cuan on the island to Luing.
