Secret Affair

Secret Affair was a Mod revival band formed in 1978 by singer Ian Page and guitarist Dave Cairns. Their lineup was completed by Dennis Smith (bass) and Seb Shelton. The debut single "Time For Action" reached number 13 in the British charts putting them at the forefront of the Mod revival movement. More chart success followed with "Let Your Heart Dance", "My World" and "Sound Of Confusion" after which Shelton left the band (eventually joining Dexy's Midnight Runners) and was replaced by Paul Bultitude. After the band split up in 1982, Cairns went on to form a group called Flag with Archie Brown from The Bureau.
