sean reinert

Sean Reinert was the drummer of the now disbanded group Cynic. He is known for his technical and creative drumming. In 1991, he and Paul Masvidal (also of Cynic) joined the band Death to record the Human album. After touring with Death he returned to Cynic. Because of legal ties with the record company, Sean could not play on the next Death album. Cynic released their only album ever in 1993, by the name of Focus. He was the drummer for the band Gordian Knot on their self-titled album and he also played drums on half of their second album, Emergent. Gordian Knot was created by Cynic bass player Sean Malone. Reinert is currently a member of the band Aghora, as well as on Spoke.
