Scopwick, Lincolnshire

Scopwick is small village 10km south of Lincoln in Lincolnshire, England. The village cemetery acts as a War Graves site for airmen from the now defunct RAF Scopwick (previously called RAF Digby) and contains many graves, including that of the young World War II aviator John Gillespie Magee, Junior There remains the tower of the derelict Scopwick Tower Mill, built in 1827 and fell into disue around 1912.
