Schwi

Schwa-schwi-schwu In fact there are 3 weak (unstressed) vowels in casual English - in addition to the traditional schwa - the unstressed /i/ which is frequent in unstressed word-beginnings and endings (Enough, minUte, happY),and unstressed /u/ as in mutUal. The symbol of schwi can be written as i sans serif and w/o a dot, while schwu as small U san serif. Such distinction of 11 stressed vowels and the 3 unstressed ones makes stress mark redundant and phonetic script much easier and simpler.
