Schwarzenbach (German for black brook) is a town in the Wiener Neustadt-Land district, Lower Austria, Austria. 48.22% of the municipality are forested, the rest are for agrucultural purposes and barren land.

History

In Roman times, the area used to be part of Pannonia. It divided the place in the history of Austria. Since 1992, archaeological findings of an old Celtic settlement dating back to the 1st and the 2nd centuries. Teh area had a great imnportance.
