Scaredy Cat is the title of Chuck Jones's first Sylvester cartoon released in 1948 when Porky Pig brought Sylvester to an old mansion. Sylvester was scared of the mansion because there were mice in the house. It was the first cartoon in which Sylvester the cat was named.
