Saturday Night Live Number 466The 466th episode of Saturday Night Live was hosted by Jerry Seinfeld with musical guest David Bowie. It originally aired on October 2, 1999. Jerry Seinfeld and Will Ferrell make the most appearances, with eight. This was the second time Seinfeld hosted. A.J. Benza, Rick Ludwin, and the cast of "Oz" have cameos. Segment Order: Original Broadcast - Cold Opening: Perot's Reform Party
- Commercial: Dillon/Edwards Investments (Who, because they waited so long to register an online domain name, found that the only available remaining web address was "http://www.clownpenis.fart")
- Morning Latte: Recurring sketch with Cheri Oteri as Cass Van Rye and Will Ferrell as Tom Wilkins. This episode marked the seventh appearance of this sketch.
- Mary Katherine & Lenny: Mary Katherine asks out Lenny, star Jewish High School basketball player, but is shot down. However, Lenny reveals he would go out with her, but is forbidden to go out with nonjewish people by his parents. Lenny, though, is tempted to go against "6,000 years of tradition". Mary Katherine expresses her feelings in a monologue. They end up going out anyway.
- Commercial: Javis Home Security Systems: Will Ferrell talks about dry baby wipes in what appears to be commercial for that product, but is interrupted and we discover that he is actually breaking into the home. He flees.
- Action 8 News Watch: Anchorpeople and reports make references to stories coming up at "later in" or "at the end of" the hour.
- Weekend Update: An edition of Point/Counterpoint pits Jerry against himself (with Jimmy Fallon imitating the second Jerry). Memorable moments include Jerry calling "himself" "an ignorant slut".
- Musical Performance: "Thursday's Child"
- Pre-filmed: Oz: After the conclusion of Seinfeld, Jerry is in Oz. He is obviously out of place. The sketch parodies the show, including Jerry insisting that "the make-up sodomy is the best part of being nailed to the floor" and the infamous "contest".
- ...and a Pizza Place: Since ABC has changed Two Guys, a Girl, and a Pizza Place to Two Guys and a Girl, Will Ferrell's character brings ...and a Pizza Place to NBC. It's essentially just a filming of a pizzeria. A slice of ricotta cheese pizza is nominated for (but doesn't win) an Emmy and is later accidentally eaten.
- Musical Performance: "Rebel Rebel"
Segment Order: Re-runs - Cold Opening: Perot's Reform Party
- Commercial: Dillon/Edwards Investments
- Commercial: Javis Home Security Systems
- Musical Performance: "Thursday's Child"
