Saturday Night's Main EventSaturday Night's Main Event was a professional wrestling program occasionally aired between 1985-1991 on the NBC television network and twice in 1992 on FOX. As such it was a rare example of professional wrestling being broadcast on an over-the-air commercial television network after the 1950s, and probably could be said to have coincided with, and to have contributed to, the apogee of the most recent "golden era" of professional wrestling in the United States.
