SatisIn Egyptian mythology, Satis was the goddess who guarded Egypt's border with Nubia on the south, and was also associated with the floods of the Nile River. Her name means To Sow Seed. One of her titles was She Who Runs Like an Arrow, which was thought to refer to the river current. This goddess granted the wishes of women and of those who sought after love, and offered purifying waters to the deceased. Satet was pictured as a woman wearing a vulture headdress with antelope horns, or as an antelope. The symbols of Satet were arrows and running rivers. She was worshipped at Elephantine, along with Khnum and Anuket.Satet may have been a child of the eyptian god set and her name could have been Set'Et or little Set(female) Alternative spellings: Satjit, Sates, Sati
