Sanjay Bangar

Sanjay Bapusaheb Bangar (Born 11 October 1972, Bid, Maharashtra). Multi-talented Indian cricketer, best known for his contributions to the national team during the 2003 Cricket World Cup. Instrumental in putting away Pakistan in the group phase, taking four wickets and scoring a half-century. Despite his fine showing at the World Cup, was booted off the team upon coming back to India. Most people believe that the team's defeat in the final by Australia coupled with a heated third week argument with influential cricket great Sachin Tendulkar was the reason for his falling out with the Indian Cricket Board.
