San Marco Platform

San Marco platform is a launch platform anchored before the coast of Kenya that was used from 1964 to 1988. The X-ray exploration satellite Uhuru was launched with a Scout rocket from the San Marco platform. On February 16, 1980 it was used to observe a total solar eclipse.
