San Francisco Museum Of Modern Art

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) is a museum in San Francisco, California, of Mario Botta architect, dedicated to modern art. It opened in 1935. At that time, it was the only modern art museum on the west coast of the United States. The current museum building opened in 1995. The museum has in its collection important works by Jackson Pollock, Richard Diebenkorn, Paul Klee, Marcel Duchamp, and Ansel Adams, among others. See also: Museum of Modern Art in New York City
