Samuel Dickstein (Mathematician)

Samuel Dickstein (May 12, 1851September 29, 1939) was a Polish mathematician. He was born in Warsaw and was killed there by a German bomb at the beginning of World War II. All the members of his family were wiped out during the Holocaust. Dickstein wrote many mathematical books. He was a bridge between the times of Cauchy and Poincar and those of the Lww School of Mathematics.
