Samhazai

A Satan-like character of Hebrew tradition. Under the leadership of Samhazai and another angel, Azael, a large group of angels were cast out of heaven. Different outcomes, however, exist to this story. Samhazai (meaning 'heaven-seizer') is alternately described as being suspended like a star between heaven and earth and being hurled to Sheol.
