Samart Payakaroon

Samart Payakaroon, once called "The Bruce Lee of Boxing", was both a Muay Thai champion and the two time world Jr. Featherweight boxing champion (in 1986 and 1994), defeating Lupe Pintor by KO in the fifth round. Largely unknown in the western world, Payakaroon was a lighting quick boxer with tremendous knockout power. Regarded by many as the greatest Muay Thai fighter in history. He is now teaching Muay Thai in Thailand.
