Salakta

Salakta is a small Tunisien village situated by the sea. The name is derived from Sullecthum, meaning the selected place. Salakta has been occupied or ruled by many civilisations, including the Phoenicians, Byzantines, Romans, and Muslim Oubidines. The attractions include a beach, catacombs, an ancient cemetary and a museum.
