sai argyle

Sai Argyle is the son of an Orb Union scientist and friend of Kira's. He is also the faince of Flay Alster, daughter of the Atlantic Federation prime minister. He escapes Heliopolis with his friends aboard the Archangel class assault ship and becomes involved in the EA/ZAFT conflict as a CIC officer under LT Natarle Badgiruel. Unlike his faince Flay, he respects Kira and his abilities, but during the Archangel and a band of guerilla fighters conflict with famous ZAFT ace Andrew Waltfeld, Flay begins to use Kira against Sai. After the sudden conflict with ZAFT forces in the Marshall Islands, with the loss of of Tolle Koenig and Kira Yamato, Flay tries to renew her relationship with Sai, but Sai shakes her off, asking why she wrongly used Kira against his friends, and why doesn't she admit she had feelings for Kira. Following the bloody battle near the presently destroyed Earth Alliance base, JOSH-A, Sai and Kira renew their friendship.
