Russian River (Alaska)

The Russian River is a river on the Kenai Peninsula of south central Alaska. It is a tributary to the Kenai River. It flows northward from its origin in the Kenai Mountains about 15 km (9 miles) into Russian Lake and then leaves the lake and flows about 30 km (19 miles) the Kenai River. Like the Kenai River, the Russian River is famous for its fishing, especially for salmon.
