Rum Tum Tugger

The name of a cat from Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, a set of whimsical poems by T. S. Eliot, published in 1939. Rum Tum Tugger appears as a character in the long-running Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Cats inspired by the book. It's a black Maine Coon tom, with leopard spots and a mane around his neck and shoulders. He also wears a silver belt. "Oh the Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat
And there's no need for you to doubt it;
For he will do
As he do do
And there's no doing anything about it."
