Ruben Kun

Ruben James Kun is a former finance minister who served as a president of the small island nation of Nauru from December 19, 1996 to February 13, 1997. Under the Pacific Solution asylum policy, Australia has a arrangement with Nauru that allows asylum seekers arriving in Australia to be detained on the island. Kun is now representing detainees in a case before the nation's Supreme Court.
