Routine

A routine can be any activity that recurs. Patterns of living among people are studied in Ethnomethodology. Routines studied can be as mundane as when, how often, and how people wash their hair, drive their cars, and conversational and talk-related issues such as the use of interjections, uttering uhm and hm and so on. See List of routines. See also Cycle or List of cycles. See Subroutine for a computer-related definition.
