Roseau, Dominica

Roseau, population 15,853 (1993), estimated population in 2001 - 19,400, is the capital of Dominica. It exports limes, lime juice, essential oils, tropical vegetables, and spices. It is on the West (Leeward) coast of Dominica, and is a combination of modern and colonial (French Style) architecture. The nearby scenery is magnificent, with waterfalls, thermal springs, and scenic plateaus.
