Demographics As of the census2 of 2000, there are 595 people, 244 households, and 182 families residing in the town. The population density is 6.6/km² (17.1/mi²). There are 353 housing units at an average density of 3.9/km² (10.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.65% White, 0.34% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 1.01% from other races, and 1.01% from two or more races. 2.86% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
