Ron Kurtenbach

Ron Kurtenbach is a Lincoln, Nebraska communist & anarchist. An enthusiastic community activist, he is responsible for creating local Lincoln radio station KZUM, and teaches at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Kurtenbach is most well-known for his controversial call-in public access shows, seen nightly on local Lincoln cable TV. He explains the basics of Marxist thinking, reads poetry, and spends most of the time discussing his politics with angry midwestern callers. Anyone in the world can discuss Marxism with Ron by calling (402) 477-7603. In the early 2000s, Kurtenbach remarried and moved to Zhoukou City in China, to teach English with his wife at the Zhoukou Normal University.
