Roman Agrarian History And Its Significance For Public And Private Law (Book)

Roman Agrarian History and its Significance for Public and Private Law (in German: Die Rmische Agrargeschichte in ihrer Bedeutung fr das Staats- und Privatrecht) is a book written by Maximilian Weber, a German economist and sociologist in 1891. Note that the original edition was in German and the title can be translated as "Roman Agrarian History and its Significance for Public and Private Law". This was the second major work of Weber, that he wrote in order to qualify as the instructor in law at the University of Berlin. Weber examined the economic, social and political development of Roman society with special regards to methods of land surveying and the different terms used to designate the resulting land units.
