Rock Star (Movie)

Rock Star (2001) is a movie starring Mark Wahlberg and directed by Stephen Herek. Rock Star revolves around the story of Chris 'Izzy' Cole (played by Wahlberg), a photo copier technician by day, and the lead singer of the Steel Dragon tribute band Blood Pollution by night. After being fired from Blood Pollution, Izzy unbelievably gets the chance to replace Steel Dragon's lead singer, and live his dream for real. The film is loosely based on the story of Tim 'Ripper' Owens who replaced Rob Halford as the lead singer of Judas Priest after being in a Priest tribute band.
