Rochfordbridge

Rochfortbridge (Droichead Chaislen Loiste in Irish) is a rapidly expanding town in County Westmeath, Ireland with a population of about 1,700. It is located on the N6 and is rapidly becoming part of the Dublin Commuter Belt. The town has experienced a population boom in the last couple of years as a result of the Celtic Tiger economic boom. As of 2004, three new housing estates have been completed – Rahanine Manor, Stonebridge Park and Castlelost Vale. In early 2004, a new shopping complex opened.
