rob grant

Rob Grant is a British comedy writer. With Doug Naylor he worked on Spitting Image, Red Dwarf, The 10 Percenters and various Jasper Carrot projects. After the sixth series of Red Dwarf, Grant left, saying he wished to "have more on my tombstone than Red Dwarf". He has since written 2 TV series, Dark Ages and The Strangerers, and has written three books: He appeared in the episode Backwards as a man who unsmoked a cigarette.
