Rick MoranisRick Moranis (born April 18, 1954) is a comedian and actor. He was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and first achieved fame as a cast member of the Canadian syndicated comedy show SCTV, where he portrayed, among other characters, "Bob" of Bob & Doug McKenzie fame. In June of 2004 a rumor began heavily circulating on the Internet that Moranis had been killed as the result of a fatal incident involving a train. This proved to be false; apparently a private (if cruel) joke posted on a private web address spiraled out of control and was taken as fact.
