Rick Burchett

Rick Burchett is an illustrator known for his drawing of pop culture icons such as Batman and Superman. He wrote and pencilled/inked a number of comic book series of the superhero genre. He began his artistic career in St. Louis and did his early professional comics work at AC Comics, First Comics, Pacific, Capital, Impact and Vertigo. Burchett then joined DC Comics. His first work at DC was on Blackhawk, which was followed by titles like Batman, The Flash, Superman, Black Diamond, Black Hood, E-Man, American Flagg, Great American Western, Wonder Woman, The Justice League, and Green Lantern. Rick Burchett received the Eisner Award in 1996 for his work with Paul Dini and Ty Templeton on The Batman and Robin Adventures.
