Richmond Riverdogs

The Richmond RiverDogs are a professional minor league hockey franchise based in Richmond, Virginia. They play at the Richmond Coliseum. The RiverDogs found their existence during an expansion of the United Hockey League during in 2003. The Richmond Renegades, the previous Richmond professional hockey franchise, folded in April of 2003. The Renegades had been in the East Coast Hockey League.
