Richensa Of Lotharingia

Born between 995 and 1000, Richeza of Lothringen or Richensa of Lotharingia (Fr. Lorraine) was the daughter of the Count Palatine Ezzo of Lotharingia and Mathilde of Saxony. She was thus the granddaughter of emperor Otto II and his wife Theophanu. Her mother, Mathilde of Saxony, was the sister of Otto III, Holy Roman Emperor. Richensa married Mieszko II, king of Poland.
