Richard Law

Richard Law (March 7, 1733January 26, 1806) was an American lawyer, jurist and statesman from New London, Connecticut. He was one of Connecticut's delegates to the Continental Congress in 1777 and from 1781 to 1782. He was later a justice in the state's Supreme Court (1784-1789), and the U.S. Federal court for the Connecticut district (1789-1806). His son, Lyman Law, would later represent Conecticut in the U. S. Congress.
