Revolutionary Committee Of The Kuomintang
The
Revolutionary Committee of the Guomindang
(
Chinese
: 中国国民党革命委员会) is one of eight registered minor
political parties
(in addition to the
Communist Party of China
) in the
People's Republic of China
(
Mainland China
only). It was founded in
1948
by leftists who broke off of the main
Kuomintang
during the
Chinese Civil War
. It was once headed by
Song Qingling
. The party claims to be the true heir of
Sun Yat-sen
's legacy.
