Report

A report is a type of document written by someone or a group of people. It is generally an account of an event, although some reports are simply published findings.
A report can also mean a loud noise, e.g. the report of a gun.
A report in fireworks jargon is any device or portion thereof specifically designed to produce noise.
Being put on report is a form of disciplinary action for some kind of infraction and is usually no stronger than an official reprimand.
